Slightly Advanced Graphing with PasiChart

Below you can see an example graph created with PasiChart, which is intended to be an open source (GPL’d) PHP class for creating slightly more advanced charts and graphs than it’s possible with the WordPress plugin that I recently wrote. I’m planning to release PasiChart both standalone and as WordPress plugin.

NB. PasiChart plugin is now published! You can download it from WordPress plugin repository. The current version is very very alpha, but still usable. Please take a look at the test page and the unfinished documentation for examples of what can be done with the plugin.

I hope this preview helps you shoot any ideas, requests and comments at this direction. Thanks. 🙂

Anyway, here’s a partial list of features I’ve planned and also differences to the original graph plugin.

  • Much more customizable.
  • Multiple data series.
  • Line, bar and pie charts.
  • Better database management.
  • Multiple graphs in database.
  • Blog post and comment count graph.
  • A few cool surprises. 😉

To be continued…

  1. Hi Duncan! I hope to release some early version next week or week after. Thanks for letting me know that someone (besides me) might actually use this when it’s done. 🙂

  2. Hi Pasi!
I would love to use this enhanced plugin. It fits my needs exactly. What’s the status of the project? Please tell me it’s nearly done! 🙂 Or perhaps it’s available already but I haven’t found the link???

  3. Hi Sam! The progress has halted due to busy life, but I’ll try to release the sources soon, so that others may continue on my work. Can I ask what you’d use the plugin for? 🙂
